Big Bob¶
Big Bob is a huge, fast ape-man that hunts the task force through the tunnels beneath Dahlonega, Georgia, until Andrew Howard's pepper spray severs its arm.

Description¶
Big Bob is the largest and fastest ape-man the team meets. Its name comes from the handler Clive, who announces a scuttling and growl behind the party with "that is Big Bob" and warns they must run once they are past the drugged shift. The name has nothing to do with the task force's superior Big Bill (Appalachia 09).
Abilities¶
Big Bob is fast enough to close a 20-foot gap and survives a unison shotgun volley. In the fight it swings Andrew by the ankle into a wall (four harm), throws Kurt into the Biz, punches Andrew in the chest (his anti-bear suit cuts it to 1 harm and cracks a rib), and holds Huell over its head and crushes him (Appalachia 09).
History¶
After the party squeezes past the shift of ape-men, Kurt orders a unison shotgun volley on three. In the first round no one rolls a full success, though several shots hit, and Andrew takes the harm meant for Huell. In the second round, with Big Bob bleeding heavily, Kurt's chest shot should be fatal but the ape-man keeps going on adrenaline. Andrew then rolls a 10 on Kick Some Ass and uses his pepper spray's "absence" beam to sever the ape's arm. Big Bob looks at the stump and gently topples over dead (Appalachia 09). Afterward, Clive says he once dissected a dead ape-man and found an adrenaline gland twice the size of a fist, and that he will "kinda miss" Big Bob. Andrew keeps the severed hand despite Kurt's warning that it is bad luck.
Trivia¶
- Andre, voicing Clive, calls the ape-man "Big Bill" once and corrects himself.
- It is never established whether Big Bob was one of the five "rejects" that Clive said had not taken to training.
