Description¶
Hooster is a D.C. informant out on parole and working shifts at Arby's. His wife is pregnant again (conjugal visits). He has elaborate crime tools, including an electromagnet for store windows and movie-style traps (Walkers 04). The Biz arrested him, and Hooster says: "You're the nicest guy I've ever been arrested by." Hooster sent the Biz dirty magazines in jail (Walkers 04).
History¶
After the goose steals Howard's jacket and torments the team, the Biz decides he wants a bomb collar to "give the goose as a peace offering." He uses the Fixer move (Charm, result 12) to reach Hooster by phone. Hooster agrees to make a bomb collar with minimal collateral damage and absolutely no dogs, off the books and for cash; to supply thermite; and to sell a net gun as an anti-goose measure. He refuses to make fake FBI badges. He will mail the package in a flat-rate envelope after his Arby's shift (Walkers 04). See Nancy the goose.
His price is a policeman's ball invitation for him and his wife, plus help with D.C. parking tickets, which the Biz accepts. Howard excuses himself to the bathroom to avoid the call. Huell's request for a revolver-shotgun hybrid is forgotten before the call ends. The package is due in a few days (Walkers 04).
Trivia¶
- Andre spells the name "Hooster"; the table joked "Cooster" and "Booster."
