Description

Charm is a teenage girl who drives on a learner's permit and works in an office entirely filled with Lisa Frank Trapper Keeper stationery. She keeps the room keys chained to large red rulers because people kept stealing them (Radford Horrors 02). She replaced the motel's old UFO-obsessed clerk, Rutherford, who was let go when the motel was found to be within a thousand feet of a school. She introduces herself as "Charm", and calls the agents "my first repeat" since they had stayed at the motel before, during the Radford Horror arc (Radford Horrors 02).

History

When the team checked in, Charm gave them two doubles. Kurt hosed both rooms with a mix of juvenile hormone and nicotine pesticide, and Charm, seeing it, told him the bedbugs had already been wiped out by a three-day chlorine tent. Kurt's attempt to read her (Manipulate Someone, 6) failed, but she let slip a "but" and admitted only to mold (Radford Horrors 02).

At about 3 a.m. a rabid mouse bit Daniel Webster on the chest, and Kurt killed it with his spear gun (see Rabid mouse). Charm came running down, admitted that a bat infestation was giving the mice rabies, offered the team their money back and said she does not sleep at the motel herself. She also offered to drive the agents to the hospital on her learner's permit. "I'm sorry. God, I hate this place." Everyone received rabies shots at the Radford ER (Radford Horrors 02).

In Radford Horrors 04, the team finds the teenage girl at the motel dragging stained laundry out of a room in hip waders and rubber gloves. The health department had hung up on her when she called, and she is working the summer to buy a horse: "I am getting that fucking horse." She had not seen Billy Thornton in a day, guessed his name was "Bob or Bill", and said he goes to the woods to do heroin (Radford Horrors 04). She is not named in that episode, but is evidently Charm.
