Beta Blockers¶
Beta Blockers are a prescription medication that links the Roulet Intruder's attic lair to the Brooks pharmacy siege.
| Type | Item (medication) |
| Holder | The Roulet Intruder |
| First appearance | Roulet Estate 02 |
Description¶
In the lair, Kurt finds a cooler holding a prescription tube with the label scraped off. He identifies the contents as beta blockers (Roulet Estate 02).
Properties¶
The agents do not learn why the occupant needed the drug. In Roulet Estate 03 the pharmacy's dispensing area has been ransacked, with pill bottles scattered across the floor. When the gunman begins to crumple as police lead him out of the squad car, Dante (as Kurt) says, "I think it needs beta blockers," citing the ones found in the attic lair. The pharmacist confirms that the man had been looking for them in the back and could not find the supply before the situation escalated. Police have a pharmacist fetch some so that the prisoner does not die in the squad car (Roulet Estate 03).
History¶
The beta blockers and the raid on the Brooks pharmacy are the main evidence connecting the masked man to the person who lived in the hidden attic lair. The episodes do not say why he depended on the drug or whether it was prescribed to him (Roulet Estate 02, Roulet Estate 03).
