Mosin-Nagant

The Mosin-Nagant is the heavy wooden rifle that the masked Brooks pharmacy gunman uses to kill a police officer and wound the Biz and Huell.

Type Item (firearm)
Aliases big wooden rifle
Holder The pharmacy gunman, then the police
First appearance Roulet Estate 03

Description

Officer Todd tells the agents that the gunman has a flamethrower, a machine gun and "some kind of big rifle. Like one of them big old-fashioned wooden rifles, like the real heavy ones." The gunman also claims to have a rocket-propelled grenade, which Todd did not see. Andre names the rifle as a Mosin-Nagant when the Biz is shot (Roulet Estate 03).

Properties

As the agents arrive at the pharmacy, a shot takes off a large part of a police officer's head, which looks to the veterans among them like "too much bullet for anti-personnel operations". A second shot, fired as Kurt searches the body for the squad car's keys, hits the ground near him. In the ceiling above the pharmacy, the Biz shoots the gunman in the shoulder. The gunman fires the Mosin-Nagant up through the ceiling and hits the Biz's thigh for 3 harm, dropping him to the tile floor. When Huell tackles the gunman, another shot goes through Huell's foot for 3 harm and leaves him on 2 health (Roulet Estate 03).

History

The episodes never say where the rifle came from. The agents had found a Kalashnikov and WWII Russian pistols in the attic lair, apparently from the gun collection emptied out of the weapons closet, and the masked man is assumed to be the lair's occupant (Roulet Estate 02, Roulet Estate 03). Huell knocks the gun out of his hands as he tackles him, ending the siege (Roulet Estate 03).

The VSS rifle from the earlier episodes is the other firearm the intruder is seen using.
