Description

The door sits in the living room, near the television and the VHS rack, and has a combination lock like the door to a panic room. Nobody has the combination. Through a gap beneath it Andrew sees empty racks on the walls, which Andre says once held about twenty firearms, and a single World War II flamethrower left against the rear wall (Roulet Estate 01).

History of events there

Kurt bashes at the wooden floor beside the door with the iron stand that holds the fireplace tools, for about forty-five minutes, while the others watch the windows. During the hammering Rita (as Andrew) steps outside and shouts "Can we just talk?" into the woods, then glimpses a low, brilliant light streaking through the trees; when she turns to look, it is gone. When the noise stops, the others find Kurt staring at the door, dizzy, having lost a minute of time. Andrew takes over, the floorboards cave, and he squeezes his head and a flashlight under the door. He concludes that the couple's "arsenal closet" was "looted by our extraterrestrial neighbors" (Roulet Estate 01).

In Roulet Estate 02 the agents find the missing guns, including a Kalashnikov and WWII-era Russian pistols, stored in the hidden attic lair, and bring them down the chimney. Andre says the gentleman of the house seems to have been a firearms collector. The players take this to explain the sniper's VSS and to make a KGB plot less likely (Roulet Estate 02). In Roulet Estate 03, Officer Todd reports that the pharmacy gunman has a flamethrower, a machine gun and a heavy wooden rifle (Roulet Estate 03). It is never established whether that flamethrower is the one left in the closet.
