The Young Balding Cop¶
The Young Balding Cop is a chain-smoking Rhode Island police officer who looks much older than his twenty-two years, drives the agents to the Brooks Pharmacy, and is shot dead the moment he steps out of the car.

Description¶
Andre describes him as probably twenty-two years old and "the oldest-looking 22-year-old you've ever seen in your life", with a full "Friar Tuck" hairline. He has clearly been smoking since he was six. (Roulet Estate 03)
History¶
The morning after the agents find the bodies at the Roulet House, the cop, who has been in the background of the scene, nervously approaches the squad car and tells them their car was spotted in the lot of a Brooks pharmacy in a town about 25 miles away. He offers them a ride. Kurt, Andrew and the Biz sit in the back of the squad car, Huell rides in front, and Diane is sent home with another uniform. (Roulet Estate 03)
After about a mile of silence he asks Huell, "So, aliens, huh?" Zack (as Huell) flips him off, and the cop, genuinely hurt, answers, "Hey, there's no call for that." Kurt smooths it over with a Manipulate Someone roll of 11: "Forgive 'em. It's been kind of a rough morning, you know. Got shot at." (Roulet Estate 03)
At the Brooks Pharmacy, the stolen car sits beside another squad car with two cops frantically gesturing from behind it. As the young cop steps out, a rifle shot hits him in the head, with, in Andre's words, "too much bullet for anti-personnel operations." Kurt pushes the squad car into cover while the others are still locked in the back. Dante retconned that Kurt had searched the body first, and Kurt found the keys on the corpse with an Act Under Pressure roll of 10. A second shot missed, and Kurt let the others out. One of the waiting cops explains that the car's radio does not work while it is moving, which is why no one could warn them. The shooter was the Roulet Intruder. (Roulet Estate 03)
