1961 Lincoln Continental¶
The 1961 Lincoln Continental is the black, ticket-covered Continental hardtop that the FBI lent to the task force as its road-trip car on the way to Radford.

Description¶
The car is a black 1961 Lincoln Continental hardtop, an agency loan found parked in a fire lane and completely covered in parking tickets. It has no working air conditioning, which matters in a black car in a humid D.C. May, and the radio's tuning knob is loose enough that vibration twists the dial to a new station roughly every 90 seconds, leaving mostly static between stations (Radford Horror 01). Gas reimbursements for the car are auto-approved.
Properties¶
The car has no special abilities. Its trunk is enormous, but Kurt's travel case takes up roughly 75 percent of it, and the suspension visibly sags when the case goes in (Radford Horror 01).
History¶
On May 24th, 1992, at about 7 a.m., Andrew found the task force's address: a derelict barbershop in a black D.C. neighborhood. Parked outside, in front of a Crown Victoria full of document boxes, was the Lincoln. An FBI agent on site explained that the building had belonged to the Capitol Police, who sold it to the FBI rather than pay to remove the asbestos, and told Andrew the Lincoln was the task force's car. Andrew gathered up the parking tickets to hand to the secretary, Diane, who started calling the FBI to sort them out (Radford Horror 01). The building is the D.C. barbershop.
With two hours to spare, the team packed and drove to Radford in it. Kurt drove while the Biz and Huell sat in back, played War and drank. Kurt passed back cucumber sandwiches and juice boxes his wife had packed, and Huell asked for Ecto Cooler (Radford Horror 01). A meter maid was heard writing another ticket for the Continental while Andrew briefed the team at the barbershop.
The Lincoln is not named again in the Radford arc, but in Radford Horror 08 the team's car is described as illegally parked and ticketed outside the Radford ER, and Andrew told Diane it was full of cash and heroin (Radford Horror 08). See Dean Lawson's heroin and cash.
