Attic Polaroids¶
The Attic Polaroids are a collection of instant photographs of sleeping people pinned to the walls of the hidden attic lair in the Roulet House.
| Type | Item (photographs) |
| Aliases | Polaroids of sleeping victims |
| Location | Hidden Attic Lair, Roulet House |
| First appearance | Roulet Estate 02 |
Description¶
A bundle of Polaroids, mostly of people sleeping, is stuck up on the walls of the lair. Many appear to show the Roulets themselves; others look like older photographs of different people the agents cannot identify (Roulet Estate 02).
Properties¶
Together with a cot, cigarettes, MRE containers and a card table, the photos tell Kurt and Andrew that someone had lived in the attic for at least a year, probably without the owners' knowledge. Since every major room has a chimney, he could enter any of them, and the owners had fitted interior locks to their bedroom doors. Andrew, who had helped on FBI serial-killer investigations before joining the task force, finds the whole lair "the most serial killer-y serial killer shit" he has ever seen. Andre leaves it unclear whether the same person is also a grey alien (Roulet Estate 02).
In Roulet Estate 01 Andrew had explained that the Greys go after people who are unconscious and sleeping and give them things so that they do not remember, and the photos fit that pattern. The episodes never establish whether the Roulets' "visitations" were really the intruder drugging and watching the household (Roulet Estate 01, Roulet Estate 02).
History¶
Kurt and Andrew take crime-scene photos of the lair, then bag the guns, money, valuables and green slurry and lower them down the chimney. The agents never identify the people in the older photos (Roulet Estate 02).
