Minor locations: Philosopher's Fist 3.J/2: Unchainable (non-canon one-shot)¶
Non-canon
These places appear only in Philosopher's Fist 3.J/2: Unchainable, a non-canon one-shot presented as an in-universe anime OVA. Nothing here is part of the main campaign's continuity.
Minor locations of the one-shot that do not have their own pages, in alphabetical order. The major sites are the Athletes' Village, The Capital (DC), the Presidential Event Hall, the Public Library and Wisukonshin.
Community Center¶
The venue of the pre-event social for disadvantaged children and their guardians, ten blocks from the Public Library. Here Derk is insulted by a bully and befriended by Sarah, and Mirabeth sells Addison an invented essential-oil business. (Philosopher's Fist)
I-95¶
The highway whose shoulder Mirabeth speed-walks along in pumps to reach the capital, about 400 miles from the athletes' village. She keeps up a dignified power-walk behind her finned parasol and goes up and over any car in her way. (Philosopher's Fist)
Miguel's Hot Dog Taco Stand¶
A street stand about a quarter mile outside the athletes' compound, where Miguel sells hot dogs in taco shells with spicy cheese, tomatoes and pico de gallo. Derk and Mirabeth land beside it after leaping the compound wall, and Derk eats 98 hot dog tacos. (Philosopher's Fist)
Mirabeth's Home¶
Mirabeth's home, equipped with an in-home video phone. After her debriefing she speeds home, and Derk mostly knows where it is. It is where she takes Derk's 2 a.m. call asking to be picked up, and she sets out from here, after removing her curlers and doing her makeup, to rescue him. (Philosopher's Fist)
Motel 6¶
The leads' $86 joint suite in the capital, one of the relatively clean ones, where they stay after a spot opens up for Derk. The television news there shows Ovain fighting the military at the capital's edge the night before the presidential event. (Philosopher's Fist)
West City¶
A financial district where four blocks are evacuated after a gas-line rupture. After the Ovain fight, Colonel Sparago lists the rupture among the damage he attributes to Derk. (Philosopher's Fist)
