History¶
The Summer Service¶
Douglas collects Lena from school and arrives at the Scott home while the team is interviewing Irene. When Lena shouts "Strangers!" and climbs into Andrew Howard's lap, he warns the team not to give her coffee again: "We have run the experiment." The family describes the field trip to the fort the day after the blast, when Lena wandered to the beach and was found unconscious. Douglas says he had hoped to hear back from the scientists, and asks whether the blood samples they drew were ever sent off (Summer Service 01).
In Summer Service 03, the family arrives at the lighthouse as visitors, and the parents ask whether the team is reopening it. After Andrew warns that soldiers are coming and Kurt Larson warns about the water and the fish, Douglas tells Irene they could close early and take the long weekend, and the family leaves (Summer Service 03).
