| Type | NPC (non-canon one-shot) |
| Status | Alive; leaves the social with her son |
| First appearance | Philosopher's Fist |
Description¶
Addison hovers over her teenage son while he works on his flag for the children's event, critiquing every line he draws. The pair look very poor, and a pile of abandoned flags sits beside them. At the social (The Flag Contest), Mirabeth uses Assess the Situation to find the person least willing to attend, and Andre describes Addison and her son as the weak point she senses. (Philosopher's Fist)
History¶
Mirabeth lures Addison away on the pretext of a chat while Derk talks to her son. She improvises a pitch about "the oil pyramid" (see The Oil Pyramid), telling Addison that a parent's financial stability is what steadies a child's life. Mirabeth rolls a 10 on Provoke Someone, and Addison pays $400 down. (Philosopher's Fist)
Her son then runs over sobbing, "Mommy, I don't wanna get killed with the president," after Derk has told him that Ovain is coming to kill the president. Addison asks whether there is a threat, hears that the tournament has been suspended after an incident with a competitor, and says she needs to make some calls. She hurries her son to the car, promising to call Mirabeth about the oils. Mirabeth gives her a business card. (Philosopher's Fist)
