Philosopher's Stone¶
Non-canon

The Philosopher's Stone is the grand prize of the World Martial Arts Tournament and the reason Derk enters.
| Type | Item |
| Holder | The tournament, as its prize |
| First appearance | Philosopher's Fist |
Description¶
The stone never appears in the one-shot; it is described only as the tournament's grand prize. (Philosopher's Fist)
Properties¶
The winner gets access to it for a couple of minutes. It is usually used in a high-efficiency hospital setting, because tournament fighters are very death- and injury-prone. Andre tells Dante that it can be used to resurrect Fatty Gibbs. (Philosopher's Fist)
History¶
Derk's friend Fatty Gibbs, a sweet sumo wrestler, died of a coronary artery problem earlier last year. Derk wants the stone to bring him back, and that is why he agreed to enter. The tournament is suspended after a doping scandal and may be canceled, so the prize is out of reach as the one-shot ends, and Derk is lost in Wisukonshin. (Philosopher's Fist)
