| Type | NPC (non-canon one-shot) |
| Aliases | Mr. Briggs |
| Affiliation | Aide to Colonel Sparago |
| First appearance | Philosopher's Fist |
Description¶
He is a young or middle-aged man with a receding hairline and big wire-framed glasses, who slinks out of the crowd with a clipboard when Sparago calls for him. (Philosopher's Fist)
History¶
Andre first called him Mr. Briggs, then asked the table to name him and renamed him Mr. Cartwright on the spot. After Ovain's outburst, he explains that Ovain's handlers put him on online dating as part of his treatment and that it has gone badly ("millionaire famous athlete, like seven and a half feet tall, kind of a no-brainer, right?"). He adds that Ovain "may have been doing some journaling recently about killing the president again." (Philosopher's Fist)
Mirabeth slaps at him twice in quick succession. Her Directly Engage a Threat roll is a 4, so he simply ignores her and she marks Insecure. He answers that it is a "shockingly tough dating market out there." (Philosopher's Fist)
