Description¶
Liam and his wife Sarah keep an extremely Catholic home, with devotional candles, shrines to the Virgin Mary and, in place of a television, a six-foot-tall oak carving of the crucifixion. When the task force arrives they are waiting by the phone for news of their daughter, visibly distressed (Radford Horror 01).
History¶
In Radford Horror 01, Sheriff Roosevelt takes the team to the Lucky house, where Amanda's third-story bedroom window sits above a sheltered carport with a two-story drop and no signs of impact. Huell separates Liam from the others to walk around the house with him, and rolls Investigate a Mystery (an 11, total 14, for hold 2). Huell concludes that the parents were asleep, genuinely do not know what happened and are innocent. Liam makes a slightly odd mention of his job and, pressed, says he works for the Arsenal on something classified that he cannot discuss. Asked about Amanda's medications, the Luckys say she had been seeing a therapist for her grades for about a year, that her grades improved, and that Radford has only the one therapist, Dr. Lawrence Lori. Both parents point the finger at Amanda's biker friend Matt McCready, who lives with his father at a tourist ski lodge in the mountains and smokes pot, which they do not approve of (Radford Horror 01).
Liam's workplace ties him to local legend. The Pay n' Stay clerk (see Rutherford) tells the team his father believed Radford was cursed because the armory made the guncotton for the atom bomb (Radford Horror 01).
Liam does not appear again. Amanda's body is found in Radford Horror 04 and examined in Radford Horror 05, but her parents are not shown.
